chap 13, the characteristics of  agape are listed.
Mark 10:51 Amazingly Jesus looked at the Rich young Ruler
                    and loved him,

Phileo = Friendship, from knowledge and appreciation of the object.
John 21:15-17 Agape and phileo:

He saith to him again the second time, Simon, {son} of Jonas, lovest (agape) thou me? He saith unto him, yea Lord thou knowest that I love (phileo) thee. He saith unto him feed (shepherd) my sheep. He saith unto him the third time, Simon, {son} of Jonas, lovest (phileo) thou me? Peter was grieved because he said to him a third time lovest (phileo) thou me? And he saith unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things, thou knowest that I love (phileo) thee. Jesus saith unto him, feed my sheep.
Peter cannot bring himself to say "agape", because he has recently denied Jesus 3 times. He knows that Jesus would just say "well, why did you deny me?". This is a poignant narrative that cuts right down to Peter's soul. The three denials of Peter, and the three questions of Jesus, much better than "scolding" Peter.

being transformed (metamorphosis) by the Spirit of God.
Rom 12:2, Don't be being conformed (Schema) to the world (this Age
we are living in) but be being transformed (Metamorphosis) by the renewing of our minds!

Rom
9:14-23 (KJV) Boulomai and Thelo repeatedly mixed through one passage:
"What shall we say then? Is there
unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For he saith to Moses, I
will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I
will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
So then it is not of him that willeth (Thelo), nor
of him that runneth, but of God that showeth
mercy. For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for
this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I
might show my power in thee, and that my name might
be declared throughout all the earth. Therefore
hath he mercy on whom he will (Thelo) have mercy, and
whom he will (Thelo) he hardeneth. Thou wilt say then
unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who
hath resisted his will? (Boulomai or decree). Nay but, O man,
who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the
thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou
made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the
clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto
honour, and another unto dishonour? What if God, willing
(Thelo) to show his wrath, and to make his
power known, endured with much longsuffering the
vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: And that he
might make known the riches of his glory on the
vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto
      glory."
Eph 1:3-11 (KJV) Boulomai and Thelo mixed
	  all through one passage:
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord
Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all
spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation
of the world, that we should be holy and without
blame before him in love: Having predestinated us
unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to
himself, according to the good pleasure of his will (Thelo),
to the praise of the glory of his grace,
wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
In whom we have redemption through his blood,
the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of
his grace; Wherein he hath abounded toward us in
all wisdom and prudence; Having made known unto us
the mystery of his will (Thelo), according to his
good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he
might gather together in one all things in Christ,
      both which are in heaven, and which are on earth;
even in him: In whom also we have obtained an
inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of
him who worketh all things after the counsel
(Boulomai) of his own will (Thelo)."
NOTE: In Eph 1:11 God's DECREES are the result of
His DESIRES. God has NO unfulfilled desires, He works all things after the counsel
(Boulomai) of his own will (Thelo).
WORLD
Aion = Age or period of time.
Matt
24:3, The end of the "world" is not the end of the world at all, but the end of
      this Aion or "age".
Matt 12:32, This "world" =
      Aion or "age".
Kosmos = An orderly arrangement (of what MUST be determined from context).
A "world" of unbelievers: John 14:17, John
      15:19, John 17:9&14, 2 Pet 2:5, 1 Jn 3:13.
A "world" of believers: John 3:16, 2 Cor
      5:19, 1 Jn 2:2, 1 Jn 4:14.
A "world" of iniquity: James 3:6.

The "world" of the ungodly:
      2 Pet 2:5.
Oikoumene = Continents, land mass, region, or whole inhabited earth.
Luke 2:1, All the "world"
      (oikoumene) should be taxed.
Ge = Earth, dirt, our planet.
Rev 13:3, Amazement existed all over the
whole "world" ("ge" = earth or planet).
Note: The English word "world" in the Bible is one of the most misunderstood words in the Bible, and I believe it has led to the formation of more "denominations" than any other one word. The problem occurs when we try to force the English word "world" to mean "every human being in the world", instead of determining "A WORLD OF WHAT" from the context! When you read the Scriptures and see the word "world", look at the context and ask yourself "A WORLD OF WHAT". Even today, we have "Cloth World", "Computer World", "Boaters World", and a "you're in a world of trouble", etc..
Scripture example, John 3:16 KJV: For God so loved the "world", that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16 translation from the Greek: For God, at a past point in time, loved (agape) the "world" of those who are presently believing, so much, that he gave his only begotten Son (the Cross), for the purpose that anyone who is presently believing in him will not even begin to perish, but shall keep on having everlasting life.
In John 3:16, The Greek word "kosmos", translated "world" is a collection of "those who are presently believing".
If you have a Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, or a Greek-English interlinear, you can see which Greek synonyms are underneath all the English words of the New Testament.
