Rev Chapter 20, The literal 1000 year reign of Christ on this earth:

1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and [I saw] the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received [his] mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This [is] the first resurrection.

6 Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

THE 1000 YEAR MILLENNIAL REIGN OF CHRIST:

The Palestinian Covenant, stated in Deut. 30:1-10, reaffirms the Abrahamic Covenant and gives Abraham and the children of Israel title deed to the land promised Abraham. The context of Deut. chapter 30 is extremely important . Deut 28:63-68 and 30:1-3 state that:

   a. Israel will be removed from the land and scattered among all peoples from one end of the earth to the other because of unfaithfulness, Deut 28:63-68.

   b. Then there will be a repentance of the scattered children of Israel, Deut 30:1-3.

   c. The Messiah will return, Deut 30:3.

   d. The children of Israel will be restored to the land promised Abraham, Deut 30:5.

   e. They will not only be converted as a people, but as a NATION, Deut 30:3-6.(as in the New Testament, in Rom 11:26-27). (The Millennium begins immediately after the Seven Year Tribulation, with the whole Nation of Israel converted to Christ).

   f. The enemies of Israel will be judged, Deut 30:7.

   g. Millennial blessings are promised to the restored and converted land of Israel, Deut 30:8-9.

   h. This context describes in a nutshell what all the passages in Scripture teach about the Second Advent, regathering of Israel and 1000 year Millennial Reign of Christ on this present earth!

WHAT I BELIEVE THE SCRIPTURES CLEARLY TEACH ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM:

   a. It must be a LITERAL 1000 years, it is stated 6 times in Rev Chap 20!

   b. Rev 20:1-3, Satan will be in chains so he cannot deceive the NATIONS.

   c. Rev 20:4, The souls of the Tribulation martyrs, who did not worship the beast, are RESURRECTED to reign for 1000 years in a RESURRECTION BODY, so it MUST be after the Great Tribulation, and still FUTURE!

   d. Rev 20:5 & 6 The rest of the dead (the unsaved) are resurrected AFTER the 1000 years. (To be judged at the Great White Throne), so there is CLEARLY more than one resurrection!

   e. It must be on this present earth, because AFTER the 1000 years, Satan is loosed to again deceive the NATIONS for a short season, and they that are deceived surround THE BELOVED CITY, and God sends fire down from heaven and destroys them. Rev 20:7-9. This happens PRIOR to the destruction of this earth and creation of the new earth in Rev 21:1!

   f. Jesus Christ will rule this present earth with a "rod of iron" from His throne in Jerusalem. Psa 2:9, Jer 3:17, and Rev 2:27, 12:5, & 19:15.

   g. Israel will be regathered and be the top nation of the world,  Jer 3:16-20, Isa 60:1-12, during the Millennium.

   h. We who are saved in the Church Age will return from heaven with Christ as His bride, and will co-rule and reign over the nations of this present earth with Christ, in our resurrection bodies, for 1000 years! 2 Cor 11:2, 1 Cor 15:51-53, 1 John 3:1-3, Rev 2:26 & 27, Rev 19:7-15.

Rejoice! Paul says in Romans 8:18, that "the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us"!
